Simple, Big, Long Scarf

I am posting this entry, not as my own, but accredited to the below designer of it.  The pattern is (hopefully) awaiting submission to the Isle of Misfit Patterns but they have not updated in a while.  It was this or delete the entry at Ravelry, which I just hated to do.

Simple, Big, Long Scarf

Yarns suggested: Red Heart Ltd. Super Saver Multis/Ombres

Needle size: US 9 / 5.5 mm

This is a very simple design utilizing a simple combination of garter stitch and stockinette stitch. Great project for beginners!

Pattern:
Cast on 30 Stitches
Garter stitch 100 rows
Stockinette stitch 50 rows
Garter Stitch 10 rows
Stockinette Stitch 50 rows
Garter Stitch 100 rows

This pattern does curl due to use of the stockinette stitch, but the 10 rows of garter in the middle help that! This is a pretty monotonous scarf to knit, but looks great when done!
